Claire Underwood

Claire has been learning alongside small people for over two decades and founded Lancaster Lodge in 2013. With a Level 4 qualification in Early Years Education, she's driven by how early experiences shape children's whole lives and believes in the power of The Curiosity Approach to help children flourish. Claire finds daily joy in children's discoveries, balancing office duties with hands-on involvement. Outside work, she enjoys coastal walks with her energetic labradors and two equally bouncy children.

Rebecca Burnham

From playworker to room leader, Rebecca has worked across many Early Years roles and brings twenty years of experience and a Level 4 qualification to Lancaster Lodge. What Rebecca loves most is following children's lead, supporting their interests and watching their delight in new things. She enjoys spending time with our children across all three rooms, as well as keeping things ticking in the office. When she's not at Lancaster Lodge, Rebecca explores forests and coastlines with her husband and daughter.
